Michael Anthony Reynolds MaySky is the 55th Elected Emperor of the Imperial Court of Los Angeles and Hollywood. He is known as the DOUBLE-HEADED DIAMOND EAGLE, "Guardian Archangel.” Michael Anthony Reynolds MaySky experienced many traumas in his childhood. He was raised by his father and the foster care system. Michael Anthony also experienced the trauma of being stuck in the wrong body, which felt like a prison. When Michael was 17, he went to a group home through G.L.A.S.S. (Gay Lesbian Adolescent Social Services). That was where he was able to meet others like him. That's when he began his therapeutic transition to becoming his true self. Because of some inner battles Michael experienced, he took paths that most would have succumbed to, but he fought hard to get out. After many years of addiction and living a lifestyle, he never thought he would escape, he prevailed. Michael believes he went through those experiences to help others get out of similar situations of hopelessness. Michael had met a very dear friend and mentor who suggested that he start his medical transition to becoming his true self. At the age of 36, Michael started his medical transition. In his journey to becoming his true self, he encountered many people who helped him find his purpose. He first started working as a tech at the transgender rehab called Menlo House. With the guidance of his mentor, Christopher Espinoza, and his good friend, Jennifer Garcia, he reached his full potential. That program eventually did not stay open, but from his experience, he was determined to help the transgender community. He decided to go back to school to get the education to become a clinical social worker and a trauma-focused therapist. In 2023, Michael was offered an opportunity to better assist the transgender community by being hired at St. John's Community Health as the Linkage to CARE Coordinator for the Transgender Health Program.

     While working at St. John's Community Health, Michael became more involved in the community and connected to his Queen Mother, Karina Samala. This is where he got the inspiration to become part of the Imperial Court of Los Angeles and Hollywood. In 2024, he became Mr. LA Pride 24-25. He continued his involvement with the Imperial Court of Los Angeles to represent the transgender community in becoming the first trans male Elected Emperor, serving as the 55th Reigning Emperor of the Imperial Court of Los Angeles and Hollywood. Michael's goal and mission is to be a voice for the voiceless. To be a guide for other transgender people and also the LGBTQIA+ community. Through his journey in life, he is a survivor who has overcome a lot. He wants to help others from what binds them so that they can become their authentic selves. All his life, he has been told that God has a purpose for him by religious figures and other people he encountered through his journey.  He was blinded from that purpose for many years because of trials and tribulations. However, once he started working on those difficulties, he started to see his purpose more clearly. He is a protector. In the past, he used to use violence, but he saw that it won't work. So, in the experience of working with the community and his education, he has found that with visibility, not hiding his true self, and being a voice, he can better help our community.
