THE IMPERIAL COURT COUNCIL 

60 Years of Noble Deeds

​

In 1965, José Sarria proclaimed herself the Empress of San Francisco and laid the foundation for the formation of the Imperial Court de San Francisco. Today, the International Court System (ICS) has over 65 chapters in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, making us the second-largest GLBT organization in the world. On October 23rd, 2015, The International Imperial Court System celebrated its 50th Anniversary with a gala state dinner, The Golden Jubilee in Portland, Oregon, headed by the Titular Head of the International Imperial Court System, Queen Mother I of the Americas, Nicole Murray Ramirez.

The International Court Council comprises various title holders and leaders from the 65+ International Imperial Court System realms. 

​

The International Imperial Court System will celebrate its 60th Anniversary as three nations come together in the beautiful city of Palm Springs, CA, on November 1, 2025, at the Renaissance Hotel.

Empress Karina Samala

​

Karina is a member of the West Hollywood Transgender Advisory Board, which is billed as the first-of-its-kind Advisory Board. The board makes recommendations to the city and the City council on matters relating to the transgender community, such as employment, housing, health care, education, equal rights, and hate crime prevention. In 2001, she established , which offers yearly scholarships to various educational institutions. Ms. Samala is also the chair of the City of Los Angeles Human Services Comm Transgender Working Group.

EMPEROR Eugene MaySky

Eugene Maysky is the first Russian Emperor in the Imperial Court system history. He was born in Russia and studied and lived most of his life in the beautiful cities of Saint Petersburg, Russia, and Paris, France. He had to leave his life, career, home, family and loved ones and move across the ocean with one suitcase to start his life from scratch in Los Angeles to live freely. He came out in Advocate Magazine and filmed the documentary ‘My First Pride’ with the Advocate film crew. They followed him as he experienced his first-ever Pride. He became Emperor 49 of Los Angeles and Hollywood, and in 2021, he stepped up again as Emperor 52.

Empress Errinneh Ann Lawas

Errineh is Empress 50, 51, and 53 of the ICLAH.
